Who doesn't like pics, right? I just want to see if linked pics work. Kraig is working on some forum upgrades, adding pics should be one of them....I see we have PM's now.
Testing!

Test 2....

Worked! Just use the img icon in the edit toolbar above the text area.

Let's see if this works for me.

Dang, didn't work!
Rick - Did you use the img icon in the tool bar? Let me know since I'm digging around in the code tonight.
Thanks.

I'll try that. I just pasted the code like I would on USN.
I had to use the "direct link" code rather than the "img code."
How much time is needed between posts? I just got booted off the page because it said I move to fast.
You move too fast... damn. I'll have to look into that one in a few minutes. Diving back into the code. Trying to get the custom Avatar code finished as well.

Custom Avatars are now working....... ! If you've already added them in the front admin you'll have to add it again in your forum profile.

Testies.

One of my favorite pics dusted off and used as my first post on this lovely new home for Rick and Company. Enjoy!
On the Left: 3.5" Gen III Bowie with Peter Atwood Anno. On the Right: 3" Gen II Spanto (this one is my daily carrier).
Great shots! Here's my current EDC:

Great pics, fellas!
Here's my current EDC rotation. The perfect inspiration as I was designing the site. Many moments of sitting at my desk staring at the screen while flicking my Hinderer trying to figure out where to go next with the design... well a lot of flicking and some good home brew ale to kick-start the creative juices.

Just what you needed Rob more Pm's! :)

As always, great pics Ken!
Great Pics! Kraig I like home brew!
Hey xraided. I just finished a 5 gallon batch of my double coffee/coco porter ale. Kind of a standard porter with 2 oz of Hersheys coco in the boil, 2 oz of real vanilla extract in in with armoma hop boil for 3 minutes, cool to yeast pitching temp then added 6 cups of strong brewed coffee in the primary (or in secondary carboy after two weeks). Nice rich porter I made to match with my maduro cigars. Starting my next batch in a few days. It will be a cream stout not to heavy on the hops and a little extra crystal 40 for carmel flavor.
I'm definitely no brewing master but it'll still beat 95% of store bought anyday. My goal is always making good ale that pairs with cigars.

Nice collection you got there microbus! Love those hand grinds. Thanks for posting the pics.

Great posts everybody. I love seeing HInderer collections!
The Anodized Ti looks amazing in the sunlight. But I dont take fancy photos like some of the other XM owners.
3.5" blasted blade, black/blue G10, blue Ano
That blue TI with blue/black scale looks amazing. Very nice. Thanks for posting the pics.

Very nice pictures. Just when I think I want something one way...one of you guys post a picture completely changing what I want.
Thank you Rick for sharing your vision and thank you Rob for putting up with my questions/emails.
Sorry for the many pics...just so happy and satisfied it's silly...

Hi All,
With the orange scale attached the XM is now a perfect match for the family Land Rover! Sorry but I'm not the best at taking photos :) Rich

How do I post pictures from my computer's hard drive?

There are so many great photos on these forums, it leaves me wondering...anybody out there have any simple photgraphy advice for a guy that wants to photograph his knives, gear, etc? I've tried a couple times, and the result ain't worth sharing.
I am no professional photographer or anything, but I find taking pix outside in sunlight makes a world of difference for me, as far as quality of my shots. The natural light really helps.I don't have a "light box" or anything. I hope this helps
I finally have a photobucket account. I hope you guys like my picture. I don't have a fancy camera, this is just taken with a point and shoot.
