Do any of the third generations XMs have hinderer stamped on the lockstop? Were there production runs of first and second generation XMs? Do all the first and second generations have R.HINDERER on the blade? I have only ever held a third generation and was just curious!
Any help would be appreciated!

On Gen 3 XM-18s Hinderer is on the top portion of the knife (see below). By lockstop do you mean the lock-bar stabilizer? I'm not sure if Gen 1 or Gen 2 had that, but Gen 3s don't. I know Strider Knives use the Hinderer lock-bar stabilizer and they used to have Hinderer on them, but the new version don't. You're correct that Gen 1 & 2 had R. Hinderer on the blade, but none of the Gen 3s do. Below are close-ups of a few of my Gen 3 Hinderers. Hope this helps.
