Whether you’re part of the Herd or just finding your way to the ranch, this guide walks you through our full lineup of folders—each with its own story, feel, and mission. Let’s find the right one for your pocket.

XM-18 Series

undefined

The Hinderer original—where performance meets legacy.

The knife that started it all. The XM-18 is the cornerstone of the Hinderer folder lineup, trusted by first responders, military professionals, outdoorsmen, and everyday carriers.

  • XM-18 3.0" — Compact and capable. Ideal for those who want lightweight performance and minimal bulk without sacrificing durability. A top choice for everyday carry (EDC).
  • XM-18 3.5" — Our flagship model. The perfect balance of size, strength, and usability. It’s the go-to folding knife for many in the Herd and a favorite for EDC setups.
  • XM-18 3.5" Fatty — Extra-thick blade stock for those who push their gear to the limits. Built for serious, heavy-duty cutting tasks.
  • XM-18 3.5" Skinny — Slimmed-down frame for lighter carry and smoother pocket feel. Offers full-size performance in a leaner profile, great for daily use.
  • XM-24 (4.0") — When size matters. The 4” version is ideal for field work, larger hands, or anyone wanting maximum blade real estate.

Eklipse

undefined

Aggressive lines. Tactical performance.

Bold and aggressive, the Eklipse stands apart with a linear design philosophy. The blade tip aligns with the center of the handle for excellent balance, while ergonomic finger grooves and a thumb ramp with solid jimping offer a confident grip. Built for serious work and tactical applications. Available in both 3” and 3.5” blade lengths, the Eklipse gives you the flexibility to choose your perfect EDC fit.

HalfTrack

undefined

Compact, overbuilt, and ready for urban carry.

The HalfTrack is a bulldog of a knife—perfect for EDC in tight spaces and for users who like a more compact knife with zero compromise on strength. With a 2.75” blade and an overall length of 6.6”, it’s a reliable choice for those looking for tough, American-made everyday carry knives.

Full Track

undefined

Modular and mission-ready.

The Half Track’s big brother, the Full Track offers a field-ready, modular build. With a 3.75” blade and an overall length of 8.875”, it delivers a full-sized feel for serious tasks. A built-in tool for quick field adjustments, this knife is made for those who demand rugged performance and low-maintenance reliability.

Jurassic

undefined

Form meets function in this ergonomic design.

The Jurassic blends flowing, organic design with ergonomic performance. A curved handle profile offers a natural grip, while the overall shape nods to Rick’s love of elegant, functional design. With a 3.375” blade, it’s a standout for both collectors and everyday users who want a dependable EDC option.

Project X

undefined

Sleek. Strong. Built for modern EDC.

One of our newest models, the Project X brings a sleek, modern look with real-world performance. Its wide, high-ground clip point blade offers serious slicing power, while the 3.66” blade and lightweight, responsive build make it perfect for everyday carry.

Firetac

null

Minimalist and classic—a nod to our roots.

A modern reimagining of Rick’s early tactical folder designs, the Firetac is slim, lightweight, and minimalist. With a 3.57” blade, a titanium frame, and smooth action, it's a refined piece of history built tough enough for today’s everyday carry needs. It’s also the only current Hinderer model featuring a thumb disc for blade deployment, offering a unique opening method that sets it apart in the lineup.

Maximus

null

Double-edged, fully symmetrical, and completely unique.

A truly unique offering in the Hinderer lineup, the Maximus is a symmetrical folding dagger with dual-edge capability. Designed with a centered, spear-point blade and a mirrored frame, it brings a striking, tactical aesthetic. The 3.5” blade is available in either a double-edge or single-edge configuration, giving users the option to tailor it to their preference. Perfect for collectors and those looking for a distinctive design to round out their EDC rotation.

Hinderer Automatics

undefinedundefined

Fast action. Same Hinderer toughness.

Fast, reliable, and built to the same standards as our manual folders, Hinderer automatics combine rapid deployment with everyday usability. Currently available in the XM-18 3.5" and Eklipse 3.5" platforms, these autos offer quick, one-handed action with no compromise on strength or style. Perfect for those who prefer the ease of an automatic in their EDC lineup.

The only grinds presently offered are Bowie and Spearpoint, but more are on the way—we plan to eventually offer the full lineup of grinds.

Choose between full titanium builds or aluminum variants. Our aluminum versions feature patent-pending titanium liners for unmatched strength and precision. Select models also support custom scale inlays for added personalization.

Conclusion

No matter your task, carry style, or preference—there’s a Rick Hinderer folder built for you. Our lineup is designed to serve everyone from first responders to gear heads and collectors, and especially those who want a top-tier everyday carry knife.
